SAW IT. PINNED IT. DID IT-Gallery Wall

Hey lovlies! I've got some new faces around and I would just like to say WELCOME and I am so glad you are now a follower!! Today I am linking up with Steph and Katie for Saw it. Pinned It. Did it.

As you all have most likely seen on Pinterest there are tons of gallery walls posted. I love that there are so many to give different ideas. If you follow me on Pinterest (@lins00) then you will see that I am in love with Gallery walls in general! I took a couple ideas and then created my own. Honestly I have another bare wall that my mom was teasing me saying I should do one of my three fur babies! HA HA

I am not sure why the pictures look crooked because they are not on the wall. I guess I was holding my camera at a slight angle.

My friend Jodi over at The Olde Crow Mill made my "W" for me and the "Our Life Our Story". The first thing I did was go gather all the frames I knew I wanted up on my wall. Most of them already had pictures in them of our oldest son Brayden. I went ahead and arranged the frames the way I wanted them on my table so I could play with the layout a little bit. I then asked my handy dandy sweet hubby to hang up the pictures for me. Once hung I took some sticky notes and labled which pictures I wanted to change and what I wanted to change them too.

I tried to make sure that our wall told a story about us and I feel like it really does. I love looking over and seeing both boys baby pictures and different event in our lives that has happened. This and my old barn window has to be my two favorite items in our home!

Have you made any fun projects lately? What are they?

  2. Hey! New follower! Your wall looks great, I love mixing different shapes and sizes. It gives such a cool effect. I just read your little description underneath your picture and giggled. I always think of myself as crafty too but my husband usually has to help me out somewhere! Atleast we have hubby's who are willing to help!
